Beckhams in California, Welcome Neighbors!

All day yesterday the media harped about how David Beckham could possibly engage Americans into watching soccer. Who is he anyway and why did he deserve that multi-dollar deal to move here with his family to California?

Perhaps Galaxy thought that he is the missing element of their team. That perhaps he’ll be able to drive up ticket sales for soccer games. I can only speculate. I am not a sports fan myself but when this kind of news gets into my car radio, cable and Internet, I am bound to notice it and pay it some kind of attention somehow.

Victoria Beckham, the former Spice Girls, would now have her own reality show which showcases their move to California. The show is bluntly titled Victoria Beckham coming to America. Gee. I wonder what they are going to show there. Probably some really personal stuff and even a rhinoplasty photo because she’s been rumored to have a nose job. It would air with NBC and the rumor is they paid a couple of millions too. Wow! I wish earning money is really as easy as that.

Anyhow, welcome to California David, Victoria and kids!

Yes, they are all over the news. The Beckhams. I was surprised when I first heard the news. I even ask myself, “Did I heard it right?”.
I jsut confirmed it when I saw David with Mayor Villaraigosa in Carson. Haha
