Indecisive Me

When you disobey a traffic rule and actually get caught, what do you get? A ticket right? But in Orange County you can get something more. You might as well get your identity stolen. Every now and then we would hear or read that the Identity theft crisis in the US is rising. So this news really came as a surprise to me this morning when KTLA morning news mentioned that the traffic tickets are being processed in Mexico!

What kind of information do they see and process? Well, just your name, address, birthday and all that juicy details that you give the DMV when you get a driving license. This is a serious issue that I think they should deal with. Information like those should not be sent to other countries lest a country known for their people’s border crossing and identity stealing feat.

Outsourcing is not that bad itself but you have to really consider what you are outsourcing. As a business student, I would say that if it would be efficient and safe then go for it but if it can’t be both then no way. I believe that it shouldn’t be done.
