Do they go together? Well, first off… Food coma is brought about by that insatiable urge to stuff one’s face over and over again until all edible resources are consumed. I do not look forward to Thanksgiving. Why should I? Oh wait, scratch that. Thanksgiving is one of those days when you can just eat, eat, eat, then eat some more, as if an appetite suppressant is needed. It is kind of like Christmas but without the religious overtones. If my family had not designated this occasion as an excuse for a get-together, I would rather be helping out in some far out soup kitchen. Actually, I did find a way to volunteer in advance and help prepare for a community Thanksgiving dinner. There was so much preparation to be made. From scrubbing the place down to chopping up the ingredients for the turkey stuffing and other dishes. I helped prepare so much food that day that I kind of didn’t want to eat for days… hence the title of this post.

Otherwise known as the Black Friday. People lined up outside stores in the wee hours of morn. Foregoing Thanksgiving dinner to pursue discounts and deals on the latest gadgets and must-haves of the seasons. I was expecting that there would be less buzz about it because of how the economy is doing. Higher unemployment rates, rising cost of living? You’d think people are going to be more thrifty and wise with their spending. Then again, who would want to pass up on such great deals that merchandisers are arousing the consumers with?

I myself am trying to avoid any further spending this year. I am still on the lookout for a good priced unlocked phone to replace my current phone. But that’s pretty much all I am willing to pay for. I am hoping to save money for a plane ticket this coming summer. So rather than spending my morning shopping, I guess I’d rather be finishing my blogging assignments.

Some of the things that I have wondered about…

  • Will I ever be a good enough writer?
  • Can I cook a decent meal for once?
  • Among the jobs in Dallas, will I find the one that I like?
  • Would I always be wondering?
  • How long can I keep my blog?
  • What does tomorrow hold?
  • Will I ever stop having too many questions at once?

Yes, I am being kind of random here. I would like to blame it on boredom but that would rather be incorrect. I think stress can be more appropriately blamed for these rather lost thoughts.

Sorry it took me a while to get back to my own blog and start writing again. Lately, I haven’t really been in the mood or condition to write. Regarding my last entry, that car is actually a “diecast” model. I didn’t want the actual car. I just wanted the toy that looks like it. However, I found out that it costs a little over a hundred dollars to get so I don’t think I’d be practical to get it.

Anyway, on some other news, I might stop posting Gossip Girl updates since I am pretty much over the whole hype. I don’t know. For some reason, I just don’t feel like watching it anymore. Plus I do not really have the time to look for the “hidden” streams anymore. Uploaders are getting more and more careful these days so it’s getting fairly harder to find them.

My school work is also getting insane because the semester is coming to a close. I am still adjusting so it’s been a tough semester but hopefully the next one would be less of a challenge. Surely looking forward to it.

Anyway, I hope all of you will have a wonderful rest of November. My next post might be in December XD
