Nothing fancy this year,
just a pure and sincere appreciation of those who stayed with me,
through thick and thin,
craziness and sadness,
happiness and tears,
online friends and in real life…
these simple words may not suffice,
in telling you how thankful I am,
that you have shared the past year with me…
Thank you so very much!

Now that Christmas is over, I think I have some time to reminisce how much fun it was before New Year kicks in. We had the usual family dinner over at a relative’s house. It was a little less festive this year but I think what is important is we where together as a family in celebrating Christ’s birth. I wanted to rant a little on how I notice how people are just referring to this as a mere holiday. But whatever, as long as I know what this day is for… really.

My mom once told me that Christmas is not about getting presents, eating a sumptous dinner, or a time to party with the family. Christmas is the day that we Christians recognize the birth of our Savior. In a materialistic society, this is often forgotten. This holiday has turned into a commercialized shopping season where people often fail to realize what they are really celebrating.

So here I am with my little rant over Christmas. Oh well, I just hope you had a good one! :)

Next year, maybe I wouldn’t be so busy and actually be able to hop around and spread my greetings and love!

Here is a gift from my fellow blogger, Lisa. Thanks sis!

Gaah. I have not updated in a while and I still do not feel like updating. I don’t know why I just don’t feel like writing anymore. I have been too stress to think and even rant. Argh. But at least this semester is over, over, over! I survived (I think) my first year of b-school. Woohoo. Not quite looking forward to next semester yet…

Oh well, let me just enjoy my vacation first!

During finals week, my friends and I were planning of taking a long drive out of California. One place that came into mind was Las Vegas. I have driven there before and I think it took me about six hours. I had to make two stops either because I was getting too sleepy or it was just too hot to be driving. Thankfully, my car did not give up on me and just needed to be rested. When I went there, I did not stay at vegas hotel but rather a time share that one of my aunt has. It was pretty cool since it was pretty much a one bedroom apartment except it has a big jacuzzi in the bedroom.

Now, if only we could have the same privilege when we go there… Hmm.. I wonder
