Ever had friends whom you only talk to online? I have some. It always made me wonder how we seem so close only online but not in the “real” world. How come there is a separation of the two? Hmm. I think it’s because that sometimes, well maybe most of the time, people play out a fantasy that they have online. Or in other words, assume an identity that they are not. Believe it or not, I am not friendly. LOL. Nah. That is not even hard to believe. Instead of saying that I am a snob, I would say that I am a bit choosy with my friends. Of course, I only choose the people whom I think I can trust and would not talk behind my back. However, the same thing does not hold true for my online friends. Since I really don’t see them in person, I can only hope that they are really who they represent themselves to be.
Anyways, I initially thought of this subject because I have been missing someone. *ehem* I think she has an idea of who she is ’cause she seldom makes her presence known. I hope she is doing fine and as much as I want to involve myself with her and her problems, I really would not be able to do it unless she allows me to… I hope to talk to her again, soon.
