According to the survey among US restaurants, Mothers’ Day is now officially their most busy day. Does it make you wonder why? One reason is probably because nobody would want mom to stay in the kitchen all day preparing for food. Or perhaps, no one can cook as good as mom does. It is also quite possible that this the time to celebrate mom by eating out at a restaurant that one has longed for. Hmmm. So really, how should Mothers’ Day be like?
Does the day start with calls, messages, or perhaps a breakfast in bed? May be mom gets to sleep an extra hour or stay in bed for as long as she wants. Well, whatever that is it should not be worrisome. Getting her off the right side of the bed should be the main goal. Afterwards, celebration rites could follow.
How about the gifts? Is it really that important? But of course! Mothers’ day would probably not be complete without it. Moms are pretty practical. They are the ones who preach about the value of money so an uber-expensive gift would not really be necessary. It would be great to get them a helpful yet memorable gift.
