Business Life?
Sep 28
2008
Oh wow, I feel like I really haven’t been updating much.
I have been busy with school, work, and occasionally sleep!
Meeting new people and networking is now part of my school life.
I have to do it if I want to succeed as a business major.
I am somewhat reluctant because I’m shy and not really outgoing.
But I have attended quite a few events already,
and I am slowly adjusting to this change.
I’m loving how the venues are always different.
Sometimes, they also have really interesting digital signage which explains
a lot about the companies present.
I think I should be fine as long as I learn to socialize
some more and expand my circle.
Grammar Gremmar Grammer?

Google Pack requires Windows XP or Vista. Here is some Google software for your Mac.
Tell me what is wrong with these sentences, I dare you. It is directly copy-pasted from Google softwares for Mac. I am failing my English class or well, at least I am not getting an “A+” because of my somewhat distracting grammar. My professor told me to get help from the writing center. Furthermore, she told me to write using simple sentences, have somebody else proof-read my paper, and be in a group of native English-speaking students. I would have argued with her but I couldn’t speak straight English anyway. Believe me. I can read in straight English but not speak it without stuttering.
Anyway, after reading through my rant… I want to reward your patience!
I am giving out a free domain* with one year registration.
This is a contest that will run from now until May 1st.
You can use any or all of the following options to join. Each method gives you one entry.
1. Blog about this contest. It doesn’t have to be an entry solely dedicated to this contest. You can even just mention it in one of your random updates.
3. Comment on this entry with what is wrong with the sentence above (1 entry). Why is the sentence wrong? (another entry) and how can you fix it? (and another entry) The sentence that I am referring to is the one on the block quote, the sentence from Google’s description.. okay? Sorry for not making that clear enough!
Note: *Domain extension is limited to .com, .net, .org, .info, and .us !

B2P and Paypal

2007
I “received” B2P’s payment for my latest links. I haven’t officially “accepted” it though because I don’t have my account enabled to accept payments from Credit/Debit cards. I think it is really wrong that they are paying using that and they should be the ones incurring the fees and not the bloggers. You’d think that 4.9% + 30 cents is quite a small amount but it would definitely add up and be a larger sum. If they want to pay the card then they should go pay for the charges as well. Argh.

The American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery is the world’s largest specialty association that represents over 2,700 facial plastic and reconstructive surgeons throughout the world. The AAFPRS is a National Medical Specialty Society of the American Medical Association (AMA), and holds an official seat in both the AMA House of Delegates and the American College of Surgeons board of governors. AAFPRS members are board certified surgeons whose focus is surgery of the face, head, and neck. AAFPRS members subscribe to a code of ethics.
Specialization in medicine has been one of the major enhancements in patient care over the last generation. AAFPRS members not only have a precise focus in patient care but they also have had more comprehensive training in plastic surgery than any other medical specialty.
